One of the museum’s main highlights is the one-of-a-kind exhibition celebrating the legacy of Karl and Wilhelm Maybach. Covering approximately 2,500 square metres, it showcases masterpieces of engine and vehicle innovation. Each display tells a story of ingenuity, passion, and the pioneering spirit that shaped the automotive world.

But the Museum of Historic Maybach Vehicles isn’t just a collection of cars. It’s a living piece of history! Housed in historic industrial buildings that produced bicycles, mopeds, and motorbikes from 1884 to 1959, the museum breathes new life into a site that shaped the evolution of mobility. Today, exhibitions, concerts, and events fill the site with new life.

The best part? Reaching the museum from the Romantik Hotel Hirschen is easy. As soon as you arrive in Neumarkt, simply follow the clearly marked “Museum Route” to arrive at your destination. Free parking is available on-site for up to three hours with a parking disc. For those travelling by train, the museum is just a short 250-metre walk from the station.

Group tours are available in German and English and last approximately 90 minutes. They provide an in-depth look into this remarkable place. If you’re travelling solo or as a couple, you can join a public tour on the first Sunday of each month.
